Museumsquartier Bern

Eleven cultural and educational institutions can be found between Helvetiaplatz and Kirchenfeldstrasse. During the course of a four-year development phase (2021-2024), these will merge to create shared innovative offerings and an umbrella brand, as well as generate new urban spaces. Interim usage will be made of the unused land between the buildings until the structural work for the Museum Garden has been completed. It is a space in which to linger, but also a venue for experimental collaborations and projects, as well as a place for people to experience and help shape culture. Various promotions, workshops and events will be held to gather feedback and ideas, as well as stimulate discussions about the development of the Museumsquartier Bern (Museum Quarter).
